Legacy: sport teaches about life

Legacy
I am going to describe the Legacy book we have been reading in class. The sport is rugby and the main idea is that playing a rugby game has parallels with life in general. To play a good game of rugby, the players need to constantly communicate and in your family, school, church, work, village and country, people need to communicate about all manner of things. Another parallel with life is rules. A good game needs strong rules, as a person in society is bound tightly but safely with string rules.
I like this book because to tells me information - rules for rugby, advice on living a good life.

  1. Awesome post, I enjoy the part that says "to play a good game, players need to communicate with their family, friends, school, community, church, work and country." I think this is really true.

  2. Kia ora Faleseela,
Thanks for sharing your blogpost about the book Legacy. I am always interested by the All Blacks as I think they are an amazing team exemplifying incredible team skills and great relationships. I would be very keen to read what they can teach us about the business of life. I think you are right, playing rugby has many parallels with life. Constant communication is something that we all have to work on. I like that you have picked up on that. What would be the biggest idea that you have taken away from this book that you think will make a difference in your life?
